Katherine’s first introduction to the funeral trade was at the age of 17 when Stewart invited her to accompany him to the Coventry and District Funeral Directors’ Dinner Dance. This was the first of many industry events she attended where lasting friendships were made.
She has been consistent in her support and belief in Jukes Group from its early days in West Bromwich through to the national concern it is today and she continues to propel the company towards growth and success in her role as Director.
Katherine has a diverse business background, spanning from the creation and running of an interior design business then transitioning to a nutritional therapist practising her commitment to holistic wellbeing.
She does, however, claim that her greatest achievement is being a mother to Sophie, Jemma and Philippa and places utmost importance on family values which also seamlessly underpin her business ethos.
The Jukes family live in Lichfield in a bustling, Victorian house affectionately known as ‘Jukes HQ’, a haven where imagination knows no bounds and the foundation for supporting Sophie’s funeral directing business, Jemma’s floristry business and Pip’s practise of photography and creative arts is found.
