Terri began working for the South Staffordshire College of Further Education in the Summer of 2008.
She was part of the enrolment team initially, helping the students get on board the various courses. A hugely customer-focused position, making sure students came first by helping them to achieve their full potential. Terri then moved to the apprenticeship programme before finally working in the College’s Management Information System looking at college audits, enrolment data and funding needs.
Terri joined Midland Funeral Supplies in early 2019 to perform an admin support role innocently unaware as to how much her life was about to change.
Early 2020, and the onset of Covid 19 Terri’s role within the company accelerated to include every aspect of production as well as all the administrative duties she was already handling. Terri rose to the occasion sensationally, performing every task to meet the needs of Funeral Directors with coffins. She worked literally 24/7 in production as well as loading and delivering to meet the demands of the pandemic.
Following this ‘baptism by fire’ and as the order book lessened to a manageable level, Terri officially accepted the role of General Manager in October 2020.
Terri would be the first to admit that she has never looked back and thrives on the challenges the job entails.
